Soft washing is a specialized low-pressure cleaning method designed to safely remove organic growth, dirt, and pollutants from delicate exterior surfaces. Unlike traditional pressure washing, which uses high-pressure water to forcefully remove grime, soft washing uses low-pressure water—typically under 500 PSI—combined with a blend of biodegradable cleaning solutions. These solutions are specifically formulated to kill and break down organic matter like algae, mold, mildew, moss, bacteria, and lichen at their source.
The key benefit of soft washing is that it treats the root of the problem rather than just cleaning the surface. While pressure washing may blast away visible stains, it often leaves behind spores that allow organic growth to return quickly. Soft washing eliminates this by fully sanitizing the surface, which keeps it cleaner for longer and significantly reduces the chance of regrowth.
Additionally, soft washing prevents damage to your home. High-pressure water can strip paint, damage siding, crack stucco, and even force water into cracks and gaps where it doesn’t belong—potentially leading to long-term moisture damage. Soft washing, on the other hand, is safe for more delicate materials like vinyl siding, wood, painted surfaces, brick, and stucco.
By regularly soft washing your home, you not only improve its appearance but also help extend the life of the materials and finishes on your property. It’s an essential part of preventative maintenance and a smart way to protect your investment.
Cleaning your trash bins is an important but often overlooked part of maintaining a clean, healthy home environment. Over time, trash and recycling bins accumulate residue from food waste, liquids, and other organic material. Even when bags are used, small spills and leaks can lead to strong odors, bacteria buildup, insect activity, and even maggot infestations—especially in warm weather.
Professional bin cleaning uses high-temperature, high-pressure water to sanitize the inside and outside of your bins without the need for harsh chemicals. The hot water, typically above 180 degrees, is effective at killing bacteria, eliminating foul smells, and removing stuck-on waste. Our specialized equipment allows us to clean bins thoroughly and safely, without creating mess or runoff on your property.
Regular bin cleaning improves hygiene, eliminates unpleasant odors, and reduces health risks around your home. It also helps deter pests like flies, raccoons, and rodents that are attracted to food waste. In addition to sanitation, professionally cleaned bins simply look better and reflect well on the cleanliness of your home.
Whether it’s monthly, quarterly, or just a few times a year, keeping your bins professionally cleaned is an easy and effective way to maintain a cleaner, healthier, and more pleasant environment around your home.
Concrete cleaning is a multi-step process designed to remove built-up dirt, mold, algae, rust stains, and other organic contaminants from surfaces like driveways, sidewalks, patios, and curbs. At Super Clean Bins & Exteriors, we use a combination of high-pressure surface cleaning and professional-grade chemical treatments to ensure a deep, long-lasting clean.
We begin by applying a pre-treatment solution made from a diluted mixture of sodium hypochlorite (SH), water, and a surfactant. The surfactant helps the solution cling to the surface longer, allowing it to work more effectively in breaking down organic growth such as mold, mildew, algae, and embedded grime. This treatment loosens deep-set stains and prepares the concrete for a thorough cleaning.
After the pre-treatment has had time to dwell, we clean the surface using commercial-grade high-pressure surface cleaners. These machines allow us to clean large areas evenly and efficiently, lifting dirt and buildup without damaging the concrete.
Once the surface is clean, we perform a full rinse to remove any remaining debris, solution, or residue. This step clears the surface and helps protect any nearby landscaping or grass from exposure to the cleaning agents.
Finally, we apply a post-treatment—again using a diluted SH solution with surfactant—to sanitize the surface, brighten the concrete, and slow the return of organic growth. This final step enhances the overall appearance and extends the life of the cleaning.
This process not only restores the look of your concrete but also helps maintain its condition over time, preventing stains, growth, and surface deterioration.
